A Mass intention can be offered for someone, living or deceased, or in thanksgiving for a special intention. Mass intentions can be submitted online or by filling out a Mass Intention Request Form and submitting it to the parish office.

NKCC Upcoming Events
There will be a Regional Mass on Friday, July 4 at Mount Saint Peter Church at 9:00AM.
The regional Mass for Friday, July 4th will be held at Mount Saint Peter Parish at 9:00AM, preceded by the “Patriotic Rosary” which will begin at 8:15 AM. The Patriotic Rosary is prayed for divine protection and mercy for our country. This devotion is especially recommended in these challenging times. In the Patriotic Rosary we pray for all branches of our federal government and for our state and local governments.
The NKCC and St. Margaret Mary parish offices will be closed on Friday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

How to have FUN and help the YOUTH GROUP travel to the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC)!
The National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) is a three-day pilgrimage for Catholic high school students and their adult chaperones in Indianapolis. Participants will experience prayer, community, and the transformative power of God’s presence. Your donations/participation will help fund the trip for the students that are attending by helping to cover the cost of event tickets, bus ride and hotel stay.
How can I help?
1. Signup for the July 9, 6:30 pm “Cards in a Round” class to be held at St. Margaret Mary Sullivan Hall. Anyone ages 10 and up is welcome to attend. No experience necessary. All pieces are pre-cut. Each person will take home 5 gorgeous all occasion cards and envelopes.
2. Class fee is $20 per person that can be paid that evening or pre-paid by check to Lorraine Menk and dropped at the church office All profits will be for the youth group trip.
3. CRAFT ADHESIVE is very important. No Elmer’s glue. You can pick up a tape runner at a craft store or let Lorraine know and she will provide one for a $6.00 charge.
4. And YES, we will have snacks.

The Festa Italiana Basket Raffle is back for its 6th year, and we need your help! Festa patrons have been amazed by the beautiful, bountiful baskets generously donated by our parishioners and local community, and we would like to continue the tradition this August.
Basket drop-off will be July 26 & 27 from 12:00NN-6:00PM in the parking lot outside Marble Hall.
In-person raffle will be conducted on August 1 and 2 during Festa, while the online raffle will begin on July 28 and end on August 2.
Can’t donate a complete basket? No worries! We can combine gift cards and individual baskets.

The Lower Burrell and New Kensington young adult ministry welcomes you to Mary’s Mantle, a fellowship and faith study group for young women ages 20s-40s. Summer meetings will be held on June 14, July 12, and August 9 in the Peter’s Table room at Mount Saint Peter Church. Please bring a friend and a small brunch item to share!

Are you or someone you know interested in becoming Catholic?
The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is the process through which those who are not baptized are able to become members of the Catholic Church and baptized Christians can receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Holy Communion and Confirmation).
This process includes times of study, prayer, and Rites that take place at Mass. Formation sessions will begin in mid-September.

Every 25 years, the Universal Church proclaims a Jubilee Year to encourage the faithful to embark on pilgrimages, repent of their sins, forgive the sins of others and renew a focus on their spiritual lives. On Christmas Eve, the Holy Father, Pope Francis, will begin the 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope, “Pilgrims of Hope,” with the official Opening of the Holy Door at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.
